Luther was a mad-man. And hardcore.

"Unless I am convinced by scripture and plain reason - I do not accept the authority of the popes and councils, for they have contradicted each other - my conscience is captive to the Word of God.  I cannot and I will not recant anything for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe.  God help me.  Amen."
-Luther appearing before the Diet of Worms, April 1521

That's pretty profound, but it's nothing compared to this...

"If I fart in Wittenberg, maybe they'll hear me in Rome."

Legend has it that Luther was heard to have made this remark shortly after nailing his 95 Feces to the church door in Wittenberg. Really makes you think...

I thought it was, "they'll smell it in Rome."

At that time everyones diet consisted of cabbage and mutton so there was no shortage of stinkiness.

I appreciate Luther because he ran a brewery to pay for his studies. Maybe we could start a brewery . . . in dbidddy's aparment.

dbiddy plans on financing his seminary education by farming medical marijuana, though I'm definitely on board for a little moonshining... it runs in my family
