The title should read Holiday=/Christ. Christians were up in arms (from what I understand) about the change from Christmas to holidays. Happy Holidays.....A move from Christmas to Xmas on the other hand shouldn't be a big deal since the history for Xmas I believe is derived from the Greek letter Chi = Christ = Christmas (Xmas).....

I find that incredibly amusing that Wal-mart is putting "Christmas" back in Christmas. I have a feeling the Mormons had a lot to do with it, since, you know, they own over half the shares in Wal-mart (from what I understand).
It's interesting that there isn't that big of an issue over it in Canada - I know that a lot of people (even non-religious people) are irritated that people stray away from saying "Merry Christmas" these days, but that's Canada for you.
Not too sure what to say on the "Xmas" issue, other than the fact that it doesn't bother me when the word is shortened like that unless we get down to the issue of proper English (not that I know much on the subject of proper English...but you know).
