Pomotheo rarely makes absolute statements but this one we're OK stating. Correct me if I'm wrong, but 10 years ago Mormon refused to be associated/called Christians. Now they realise they can get more money in the bank if they push their religion as a 'Christian alternative'.
This debate between prominent Christian apologist and LDS author took place over the blogosphere. http://blog.beliefnet.com/blogalogue/mormondebate/. Personally I don't think it was a fair debate since Dr. Mohler is a PhD and Orson is merely an fictional writer. Nonetheless, Orson never answered the main question about the debate, basically "is Mormonism an accurate reflection of orthodox Christianity".

I should make my own list, and quite frankly, I will. But for now someone else did.

He Only paid for One Bentley, the Other was a Gift....
A LA pentecostal preacher filed a lawsuit against the 20/20 news program citing that they falsely illustrated his life in one of their programs. The Rev. Frederick K.C. Price, pastor and founder of Crenshaw Christian Center, was part of a segment on televangelists titled 'Enough!' (Did they catch Benny Hinh in this one? Somebody tell that guy I'll punch him in the gut but steal his cool suits.)

Did dinosaurs live with man? Where do you stand? Pomotheo is happy to stay in the yes and no category for the sake of discussion. If you believe a highly symbolic and metaphorical Job refers to a literal brontosaurus then so be it.

Why you ask? Because quite frankly whether your Christian or atheist this topic is hotly contested and drives a lot of interest. We'll put our articles in the easy to read category for the sake of creating much needed dialogue on a 'different take' of the situation. Enjoy!

Just wondering what the pope means when he says "The other communities "cannot be called ‘churches’ in the proper sense" because they do not have apostolic succession — the ability to trace their bishops back to Christ’s original apostles."
I'm just wondering if the Pope thinks that those churches that Paul planted were actually churches then (according to his definition). and what is this 'proper sense' he speaks of? ftw? i guess this pope wants to leave a mark... let's undo everything that the last guy did so the next guy has something to do.

Typically Canadians are regarded as the cool liberal cousin of their Bible thumping conservative bretheren from the South. Turns out 60% of Canadians believe God had a hand in creation. When push comes to shove, Canadian rather not pull an all-out atheist position. Fancy that.... some common sense for a change

A new report describes how the majority of regular Americans believe you can't change someone who is homosexual. The majority of fundamentalist Christians would rather kill their kids than find out they're gay. What a world we live in--the media has it right: the Christians who make the news are intolerant SOBs.

Remember the Simpson's episode when Homer becomes an Episcopal priest by printing off a collar from the internet? That's pretty much how things are these days in the scammy and directionless Anglican-offshoot.
