Why Mormons Aren’t Christians, Period.

Pomotheo rarely makes absolute statements but this one we're OK stating. Correct me if I'm wrong, but 10 years ago Mormon refused to be associated/called Christians. Now they realise they can get more money in the bank if they push their religion as a 'Christian alternative'.

This debate between prominent Christian apologist and LDS author took place over the blogosphere. http://blog.beliefnet.com/blogalogue/mormondebate/. Personally I don't think it was a fair debate since Dr. Mohler is a PhD and Orson is merely an fictional writer. Nonetheless, Orson never answered the main question about the debate, basically "is Mormonism an accurate reflection of orthodox Christianity".

just because people change their minds it doesn't make them wrong or right. they took a look at what their religion was and what was it a part of? they stepped out of their religion for a second or two, and saw their religion in a different point of view. don't hate the mormons for changing their point of views, accept them for what they decide to do and say. if they do or say something that offends your religion or another religion just talk about with them. don't beat around the bush. get to the point! if you want to ask mormons who knows the reason why 10 years ago they started calling themselves christians, then DO IT! correct ME if I'm WRONG! I'm not mormon.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as a life long mormon, I have always considered and told people that I'm a christian. Take a moment and look at what a true christian is and label yourselves accordinlgy.
