Yancey's Trip to Calgary Cancelled?

Philip Yancey was supposed to attend a Thursday meeting at Bow Valley Christian Church but the event was canceled. Rumours have it Mr. Yancey was in some form of accident. More details to follow.

Quite frankly, it may have been a blessing in disguise as many people have remarked that Bow Valley's planning for the event was less than stellar and their PR (office) people were both unhelpful and rude--almost acting as if they were sorry they had made the news of Yancey's arrival public.

Mod Edit: Link to the Yancey web site. It turns out he broke his back in a bad car accident. Apparently going 65 mph on snow is safe Luckily some mormon's (why can't we just call them regular people?) pulled over to help.
