Baptist Missionaries Must Renounce Tongues and Porn
Apparently those in the Baptist denomination in the States hate the speaking of tongues so much that they have equated it to the use of hardcore porn. This is very very sad since somebody forgot to do some basic exegesis here. It also makes me wonder how people can interpret Scripture in such a way that they can make these conclusions. I would be willing to hear someone coherently explain how.

How can one be "comfortably away from that struggle in their life", I wonder, or any struggle at all?
This article and how it talks about the IMB's application process for missionaries seems to me like a screening process - only those 'good enough' can get in! Am I totally out to lunch, or is the IMB placing their missionary applicants under the law, and not under grace?
