WTF? That's gotta be a scam, a very big scam. No pastor would write a song called 'the bible says' and then have a chorus of 'God hates fags'..... the bible doesn't say God hates fags..... I think it's just a sick joke, so cheesy....dude looks gay too.

if you follow the link to their website and myspace, you'll find they are a legit bunch of Christians trying to express themselves.

i have a image of a God hates fags poster and protester and the scripture they quote is romans 9:13. this, for those of you who yet to get a bible says, "Just as it is written: 'Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.'"

so the logical conclusion is, "WHAT!? Esau was a fag?!"

i think their theology is described, and with scripture at their main site:

explore with caution and leave the vengeance to the Lord!

Followed the links... I still don't think it's legit. Just look at the guy. He totally looks gay. He's probably just being satirical. Whether you're straight, gay, religious, or athiest, the video is hilarious.

if you're right, i think they are going a long way to do satire.
another one of their sites, http://www.lovegodsway.org/

how far would someone go to defame Christianity and not put a "haha, got you hypocrites" kinda remark anywhere?

i hope it is satire. i dont think so.
and the lyrics of the song are weird. the chorus is about getting strength to stay straight and not fall into temptation of being gay (so you ARE right about his gayness) yet the chorus flips to a God hates fags thing.

we should do a song, "god hates fag haters" or something and have it explicitly satirical. weird al-esque.

I wonder how long it will take to hit the gay club circuit. Seriously, the song is too perfect. Some DJ's going to lay a beat behind this thing and remix it. It's going to be the YMCA of 2007.

Im' totally willing to do a satire video, Dbiddy's got a video camera too.

If someone is willing to put together a nice article about how 'god doesn't hate fags' then I'd be willing to promote it. We can act as an alternative to the nuts at eveningservice. We would rank higher than them in the search engines and basically give people a better interpretation.

This explains everything, he must have said fig. Anyways, I am very willing to do as I said, a nice article that just destroys 'Evening Service'. Anybody willing to help just email me and the board.

Brutal!!! This guy is going to get shot by someone who thinks he's serious! If it is satire he's carried it way way too far!! Actually, theres no way you could do this as a satire and not think your offending every person who listens to this crap.

i must confess that song was in my head for a while. i had to listen to some Cake to get it out.
if we do a video, we'll have to draw in those little moustashes and work on our bad lip syncing.

"God hates figs" brought to you by the CTS band. Choreography by Ro.
