Yesterday TheNines broad casted online all day. 09/09/09 has not real significance, but the leadership network had some plans to bring in a few big names for 9 minute musings. I'd like to say I LOVE the idea. It makes COMPLETE sense to have 'conferences' ONLINE rather than getting pastors and churches to blow hundreds to thousands of dollars on conferences and related expenses. For that I give Leadership Network a thumbs up.

However, content wise, I was unimpressed, maybe because my expectations were way too high and because I'm from Canada and the conference was geared to Americans.

One Tweeter put it best:

if only the nines talked about relevant post-Christian realities... listened to 1st hour... only Skye Jethani was worth effort.

I would add Brian McLaren to that list and then, well, it was 9 minute sermonettes from people. Lots of room to grow for thetens next year in October (I'm assuming.....)
