Don’t Recycle If You’re an Evangelical

Let me get this straight, Christian fundamentalists, or whatever you want to call yourselves, are first to point out the faults in other people but can't be bothered to recycle pop cans? What bums.

I'm not about to go 'righteous' about we have to recycle all our waste, but please, take a bit of responsibility to the vast amount of garbage you needlessly throw away. It's good stewardship and in the least you get 5cents per can.

Yea mon, Bob Marley hits Anglican Hymnal

In a move that shocks nobody the Anglican church in Jamaica have inserted Reggae songs into their hymnal to be more contextual to their audience. On one hand I'm all for the move of taking popular cultural songs and making them worship songs, assuming it can be done. Toke Up in Church – Jesus Looks Better When Hiiiiigghh

Since when does the Church of the Universe get to ordain Reverends? Haha, ah well, it appears their sacrament of smoking marijuana is too much for the government. Sick of being shut down the 'church' is launching a class action lawsuit against the state.

Key church beliefs:

Church members are required to use marijuana, which they call God's Tree of Life, as a sacrament in their lives and worship.

Looks like dbiddy finally has a home.

Why Mormons Aren’t Christians, Period.

Pomotheo rarely makes absolute statements but this one we're OK stating. Correct me if I'm wrong, but 10 years ago Mormon refused to be associated/called Christians. Now they realise they can get more money in the bank if they push their religion as a 'Christian alternative'.

This debate between prominent Christian apologist and LDS author took place over the blogosphere. http://blog.beliefnet.com/blogalogue/mormondebate/. Personally I don't think it was a fair debate since Dr. Mohler is a PhD and Orson is merely an fictional writer. Nonetheless, Orson never answered the main question about the debate, basically "is Mormonism an accurate reflection of orthodox Christianity".
