The far far right-wing in America is a powerful powerful lobby with money and strings. Unfortunately their attempts to be taken seriously by normal people sometimes backfires. 'All things to all people by all means,' didn't really work out when a news agency auto replaced all terms 'gay' with homosexual. Sucks if your last name is 'Gay'.
